The Pregnancy School

The Pregnancy school is an initiative of the Mamprobi Polyclinic which is held once a month. During the session, the pregnant women are grouped into their various trimesters.
The first trimester in a group, those in their second trimester in another group, and the final trimester are equally put in a group. They are taught everything they need to know from nutrition, anti-natal, hygiene etc. This runs annually. Once they complete, graduation is done in their honor, and certificates are awarded to them.

De Pull-up Foundation, as part of our Women’s health empowerment project, decided to sponsor the Pregnancy school. In our bid to encourage expectant mothers to consistently attend pregnancy school, we refreshed them with healthy drinks, biscuits, and bottled water incessantly till they graduated. This sponsorship goes for the 2020/2021 batch.

De Pull-up Foundation led by the director in charge of women’s health and empowerment joined the Mamprobi Hospital to graduate 100 women who partook in the 2021 pregnancy school held at the hospital. This year all the women we attended the class gave birth successfully, hence decreasing the mortality of the hospital. We are proud to have been part of the sponsored for this year’s project. De pull-up foundation was given a citation for supporting the hospital in this year’s program.
