Feed The Street Project

“As the mission of this organization (De pull-up foundation) is to assist in the provision of compassionate, timely, and quality care to the most vulnerable in society, our team decided to give back to society during the Easter festive.
In order to provide for the basic needs of people, we embarked on the Feed the Street project. The purpose of this project was to put smiles on the needy and also to celebrate the Easter festive with them.

Meet The Team

To celebrate the Easter Festive with the most vulnerable in Society, our team gave out 1,500 well-packaged foods (kenkey with fish /sardine, paster(Indomie), Jollof and chicken, rice and stew, waakye with fish and egg). With the help of our sponsor (Fruitland), we distributed 1,120 bottles of juice.

Our team sets off to six different locations (ministries/national theater area, Kanda, Airport traffic light, Asylum down, National Lottery Authority, and Tema station). With these locations, we had the opportunity to make people happy as we gave out the food and drinks. It was fulfilling seeing children, aged women, and men filled with joy as we celebrated Easter with them.
With the help of our sponsors and our strong team, the project was indeed a success.

Team Sharing The Meal And Drink

During the sharing, we took the opportunity to interact with the recipients and we took details of those who showed interest in joining our upcoming EMPOVOC project( a short-term free vocational training aimed at equipping the youth and women with various vocational skills)
Skills such as the production of cosmetics products, dressmaking, cosmetology, weaving, catering, and many more.) After the training, each participant will be provided with a start-up package.

We ended the project on a very positive note and we wish to follow up and offer them the various skills there by taking them off the streets.
